In 2003, Newnex developed the FireNEX™800, the world's first IEEE 1394b optical repeater, based on the company's patented noise control technology. Recently, Newnex introduced the world's first USB 3.0 optical repeater with power delivery option: the FireNEX™-5000H that is capable of extending USB 3.0 signal to 300 meters without power delivery and 100 meters with power delivery option. In addition, our active repeater cable: FireNEX™-uLINK is capable of extending USB 3.0 signal to 16 meters.
